The new central inverters of the Voltwerk VC series are characterized by high efficiency and reliability in all grid situations. Efficiency and reliability
The optimal coordination of electronic control, used materials and components allow an extremely high efficiency even with low input power. With a maximum efficiency of 98.7% (European efficiency 98.5%), the VC inverters are the most efficient in their class. Through the use of age-resistant film capacitors and generous limits in the specification of the individual components, the series also guarantees maximum reliability.
High ease of use
The integrated VGA touch display with intuitive menu guidance makes it possible to quickly recognize current operating states and to implement the adaptation of network and control values on site. The integrated web server allows convenient access to the central inverter via the Internet. A CAN bus is available for connecting a more extensive monitoring system.
Low installation costs
The completely new concept of the VC series makes the use of a generator coupling box superfluous, as DC backup devices are already integrated in the device. This leads to cost savings and a significantly reduced planning and installation costs. For use with thin-film modules, the VC series has an integrated earthing kit including back-up fuse. The monitoring of the positive or negative grounding takes over the inverter control.
In addition to high reliability and high efficiency, the safety of the operating personnel and the system is the top priority. That's why all Voltwerk products carry the GS mark; certified by Bureau Veritas. However, should critical situations occur, they will be detected early and prevented by various monitoring algorithms. These include, among other things, the shutdown of the DC input at excessive input voltages.
